Juan Gonzalez is a Management and Program Analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Directorate – FBI Headquarters, Washington, District of Columbia, where he serves the Nuclear and Radiological Countermeasure Unit to develop, coordinate, and execute an integrated approach to detect, deter, and disrupt terrorists in their acquisition and use of WMD. Juan Gonzalez entered on duty with the FBI in 2010 as a Forensic Operations Specialist, where he served the FBI Laboratory Division, Forensic Operations Section.
Prior to joining the FBI, Juan Gonzalez served the City of Philadelphia Fire Department as a Fire/Hazardous Materials Lieutenant with the Special Operations Command. From 1994 through 2010, his dedication and service to the City of Philadelphia provided opportunities to contribute to the safety and welfare of the City of Philadelphia. As a member of the City of Philadelphia Fire Department Special Operations Command, Juan Gonzalez, embarked on greater challenges; he served as a Hazardous Materials Manager with the State of Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Pennsylvania Task Force 1 (PATF-1).
Juan Gonzalez earned a BS in Public Safety from Holy Family University and an MS in Public Safety/Homeland Security from Saint Joseph’s University.
