Bartosz Dzikowski is an employee of the PAA since 2020. Previously, he worked at the Radioactive Waste Management Plant (ZUOP) for 9 years. That time, he was responsible, inter alia, for supervision of the security of nuclear facilities at ZUOP (two wet storages of SNF and former nuclear reactor EWA) and international shipments of the SNF to the Russian Federation. During his career at ZUOP, he held positions of the Head of Project Implementation, Spent Nuclear Fuel And High-Level Radioactive Waste Department. He coordinated the implementation of the Global Cesium Securty Initiative in Poland, under which installed a number of the physical protection systems of high activity radioactive sources and replace cesium blood-irradiators (contains high activity sources) by non-radioisotopic alternative technology (x-ray devices).
Moreover, at that time he was a classified information protection officer, a radiological protection inspector, a member of the national radiological emergency response team, a wet storage of SNF operator, a hot cell operator.
Mr. Dzikowski has significant professional experience in the field of nuclear security and radiological protection. He completed a number of national and international trainings, including – on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and Nuclear Facilities in Albuquerque (USA), and on Practical Operation of Physical Protection Systems in Obninsk (Russian Federation).
Bartosz Dzikowski holds a master’s degree in chemistry (hazardous materials including toxic, radioactive and explosive) at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw.
