Jasmine Auda is the Deputy Managing Director at the Middle East Scientific Institute for Security (MESIS). MESIS is an independent Jordanian non-governmental organization based in Amman, Jordan associated with the Royal Scientific Society. The organization serves as a regional center of excellence within the scientific community and beyond in shaping dialogue and cooperation around mitigating chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) risks. In this capacity, Jasmine leads the design and development of programs that seek to address various risks to regional security in the Middle East. She is also the Program Manager for the Regional Radiation Detection Training Center, a newly-established MESIS initiative. Jasmine received her undergraduate degree from New York University, and a Master’s Degree from King’s College London.
